Moana’s Father Ishmael Amuli Wins Case To Bury His Daughter

The late socialite/video vixen Michelle Amuli’s mother, Yolanda Kuvaoga has suffered a major blow in her bid to take full control of her daughters’ burial after the High Court ruled against her application to have the burial order canceled.

Moana’s father Ishamel Amuli won the burial battle against his estranged wife as Justice Kwenda ruled against Moana’s mother’s application and upheld the burial order that was issued by the registrar’s office which states that Moana will be buried at Warren Hills Cemetary.

This development was confirmed by HSTV News on their official Twitter handle:
In his ruling Justice Kwenda said there was no basis to cancel the order granted by an administrative office as he didn’t find any legal basis for canceling the burial order.

Kuvaoga had approached the High Court seeking to have the burial order awarded to Amuli canceled after they clashed over the funeral program

In her defense, Kuvaoga had argued that allowing Moana to be buried through the Islamic rites would deprive her as the mother an opportunity to bury her daughter since women are not allowed at the graveyard.

Also, she will be buried wrapped in cloth instead of a coffin.
Moana’s mom felt since Moana was living her life detached from Moslem way should have been buried in a way that reflects her way of life which involved partying, drinking and slaying.

This puts to rest the tussle over Moana’s remains which were burnt beyond recognition together with two foreigners Karim Limumba and Alisha Adams who have since been repatriated and buried in their respective countries.

Moana was the last to be buried after dying in Genius Ginimbi Kadungure’s Rolls Royce Wraith on Sunday 8 November.

The death, especially of Ginimbi attracted huge headlines across Africa.

Considering the fact that the late Moana was a socialite, her mother had also wanted the public who followed her to have a chance to bid her farewell, something she said would not be possible should she be buried in the way demanded by her father.

Meanwhile, Moana is set to be buried tomorrow at Warren  Hills.
