Prophet Passion Java Pays Respect To Gringo’s Family

Popular United States-based Zimbabwean preacher  Prophet Passion Java, today attended the funeral of veteran comedian Lazarus Boora, affectionately known as Gringo by his legion of fans, to pay his last respects.

Prophet Passion Java landed in Harare today to pay his last respects to the Boora family and to the family of the late businessman and socialite Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure.

Upon his arrival, Prophet Passion Java who was accompanied by Prophet Israel Matthews went to Gringo’s family to pay his last respects.

Gringo who had been unwell for over two years succumbed to stomach cancer on Monday morning at Westview Clinic in Zimre Park, Ruwa.

Dr. Johannes Marisa who was treating the late comedian revealed that there was nothing they could do for him as the cancer had already metastasized to other parts of the body.

Gringo is survived by his wife and seven children.

His burial is scheduled for this Thursday at his rural home in Rukweza, Rusape, his family confirmed.‌

 Nyaradzo Funeral Services Group and the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) partnered to offer the late comedian, a platinum coffin.

Meanwhile, Passion Java is also set to pay his last respects to Ginimbi’s family. who died in a tragic car accident on Sunday morning.

Before departure, Prophet Passion sent a combined message referring to Gringo and Ginimbi as his brothers
