Jonathan Moyo Blasts Chamisa For Saying Churches Should Be Open

Exiled former cabinet minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has slated opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa for pushing for the reopening of churches even as Covid-19 continues to spread rapidly. A devout Christian and ordained pastor, Chamisa wants lockdown restrictions eased for places of worship so they can seek divine solutions to the country's problems, including the respiratory virus that has since infected 32,952 Zimbabweans and killed 1,178 others. Zimbabwean Man In UK Jailed After His Second-Hand Ambulance Carrying His Family Was Stopped By Police

A man has been jailed after a second-hand ambulance carrying a family was stopped by police near a supermarket. Blessing Mukaukirwa, 32, of no fixed address, was stopped near Asda in Harpurhey, Manchester, on Wednesday. The Zimbabwean national appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court where he admitted offences of driving while disqualified and with no insurance. He was jailed for 32 weeks after his convictions activated a suspended sentence for other driving offences. Traffic officers had earlier tweeted that the vehicle arrived at the supermarket with blue flights flashing and was reportedly carrying a family.

Beitbridge Couple Arrested For Spreading False cCaims About President’s Death

A Beitbridge couple has been arrested for allegedly broadcasting via a WhatsApp group that President Mnangagwa had succumbed to Covid19. The suspects become the latest to be caught up in the web as Government cracks hard on those publishing falsehoods. Devine Panashe Maregere (20) and his wife Vongai Nomatter Chiminya (20) are accused of having falsely claimed that the Head of State had died on the morning of January 25 due to Covid-19 related complications. Prayer Session Turns Ugly After Prophet Drugs & Rapes Client At The Shrine

In a rather heartbreaking development,  a woman from  Harare was drugged and raped by a self-styled prophet during a prayer session at the shrine. iHarare has established from The Herald, that Samuel Guta (45) of Apostle of Power of Unity in Christ Church allegedly raped a woman (name withheld) who had visited his shrine seeking prayers for her sick child, after prescribing a concoction mixed with lemons that resulted in her passing out in the midst of the healing session. Chipinge Chief Divorces Wife Marries Form 4 Student Wrtting Exams

Chief Mahenye (34), heading one of the largest chieftainships in Chipinge has disrupted the academic career of a girl whom he has married while she was writing her O Level Exams. Chipinge Times cannot disclose the name of the girl who attended Mahenye school for ethical reasons but Chief Mahenye whose real name is Thomas Jojo confirmed the story. Bulawayo Man Drugs And Sodhindoz Friend

POLICE in Bulawayo are looking for Tinashe Chafachaipa, a 27-year-old man who allegedly drugged a friend and sodomised him after celebrating New Year. Chafachaipa disappeared after his victim made a report to the police on Thursday last week. Confirming the incident, Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube said Chafachaipa was on the run. He said the complainant suspected that Chafachaipa had sexually abused him when he woke up naked on his bed the following day. Chamisa & Mwonzora Agree To Work With President Mnangagwa

Mwonzora Appoints Khupe As His Vice President

Former MDC-T Acting president Thokozani Khupe has accepted the appointment as the party’s vice president following her defeat in last week’s extraordinary congress that was marred by chaos, allegations of vote-rigging and violence, Zim Morning Post reports. Khupe Tests Positive For Covid-19

FORMER MDC-T interim president Thokozani Khupe has tested Covid-19 positive, a few days after the opposition party held its extra ordinary congress attended by over 2 000 delegates at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
